ClearView Packaging has recently installed a new Model 83 Segal Metal Eyelet machine which will be in full production on May 1, 2015. With the addition of the eyelet machine, ClearView Packaging is now one of the only manufacturing plastic bag companies in the country able to provide metal eyelet custom poly-bags.
Adding metal eyelets to poly bags gives users a professional and upscale look while providing extra strength to hang-holes. Eyelets are most often requested for bottom load header bags. As opposed to heavier grommets, the lighter eyelet is one brass circle inserted into the hang hole which then crimps onto itself, grasping the poly bag and surrounding the hang-hole.
